Thank you for visiting our website. The Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture (ITEA) is a world leader in teaching pure Classical Five-Element Acupuncture (CF-EA). Our mission starts with promoting the health of individuals and grows to encompass the health of the world we live in, and all of nature which makes it up. Our program produces creative and passionate leaders in the healthcare field.

This is a time of blending of 'traditional' Western medicine with a return to Eastern observance and reverence of nature in maintaining health. This is a time of renewed respect for learning which is not strictly academic and intellectual, but based on energy, intuition, and senses. The lineage of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture (CF-EA), as one such healthcare discipline, is more in demand by students and clients each day, although the number of schools teaching it remains quite small.
CF-EA not only treats physical symptoms, it also brings clarity of mind, and brings the twinkle back into a person’s eye. CF-EA calls this the treatment of the whole person — body, mind, and spirit.

You will continue to learn, for the art of Classical Five-Element Acupuncture is forever deepened and honed through experience in practice. You will lead your clients to "Do Something Different"! Whether your clients have physical complaints, psychological distress, chronic illness or lack core the strength to fully experience life with their bodies, minds and spirits, you will support their healing as their lives change.
You will become a teacher of clients, friends and colleagues. You will develop the ability to see where people struggle against nature and lose personal energy, and will give insight when asked. And this will lead, in a powerful way, to bringing humanity back to nature, to respecting nature, and perhaps, to healing the environment.
