Tuition

Tuition for the Master of Acupuncture in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture Traditional Track Format is $48,000, approximately $20 per classroom hour.* All tuition is paid within the first 3 years of the program — $3,900 is due at each first and second year quarterly Intensive. $4,200 is due quarterly for the third year—the first clinical year. In addition to tuition, airfare and living expenses, there are other expenses the student should anticipate as part of a Classical Five-Element acupuncture education.

*ITEA reserves the right to change tuition cost before the beginning of each academic year.
**Two payments of $3,750, one payable at the beginning of the 4th year, and the second before graduation or before entrance into the fifth year, whichever comes first.

Tuition for the Master of Acupuncture in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture Practitioner Track Format is $550 per four-day weekend for 24 weekends, one weekend per month. In addition to tuition, there are minimal other expenses the student should anticipate as part of a Classical Five-Element acupuncture education.***

Prepaid Tuition Discount Plan

ITEA offers a 5% discount to Traditional Track students who pre-pay their entire tuition at the start of the program. In addition to these savings, prepayment also protects the student against future increases in tuition. At any time in the program Traditional Track students may pay the remainder of their tuition, with no discount, and be protected from future increases in tuition.
