Tuition

Tuition for the Master of Acupuncture in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture Traditional Track Program is $46,800, approximately $19 per classroom hour.* All tuition is paid within the first 3 years of the program — $3,900 is due at each quarterly Intensive. In addition to tuition, airfare and living expenses, there are other expenses the student should anticipate as part of a Classical Five-Element acupuncture education.

These fees include:
Non-refundable Application Fee	$ 200
Non-refundable Reservation Fee (upon acceptance into the program):	$ 300
Fourth Year Clinical Fee (payable in two payments of $3,750):	$ 7,500**
Tuition Late Fee (per month, per Intensive):	$ 100
Student Temporary Withdrawal (at time of withdrawal):	$ 300
Student Reinstatement Fee (after a temporary withdrawal):	$ 300
Point Location Make-up Exam Fee (prepaid):	$ 50
Returned Check Fee:	$ 10
Book Expenses for Entire Program:	$ 1,000
Acupuncture Supplies:	$ 100
Transcript Copy Fee (prepaid):	$ 10

*ITEA reserves the right to change tuition cost before the beginning of each academic year.
**Two payments of $3,750, one payable at the beginning of the 4th year, and the second before graduation.

Tuition for the Master of Acupuncture in Classical Five-Element Acupuncture Practitioner Track Program is $750 per four-day weekend for 30 weekends, one weekend per month, plus clinical weekends determined individually. In addition to tuition, there are minimal other expenses the student should anticipate as part of a Classical Five-Element acupuncture education***

*** Tuition estimate does not include non-acupuncture courses the student may wish to take through ITEA towards the Masters Degree.

Prepaid Tuition Discount Plan

ITEA offers a 5% discount to Traditional Track students who pre-pay their entire tuition at the start of the program. In addition to these savings, prepayment also protects the student against future increases in tuition. At any time in the program Traditional Track students may pay the remainder of their tuition, with no discount, and be protected from future increases in tuition.
